New York recently found out what a big fat Indian wedding looks like after a “Baarat” literraly shut down the entire Broadway amid celebrations.

The video of the wedding procession has now gone viral on social media. In the video, ‘The Baraat’ can be seen celebrating and dancing to Bollywood songs.

The wedding clip was shared by Suraj Patel, an Indian-origin-based attorney in the US.

Suraj mentioned in the caption of his social media post that they shut down Broadway for his brother’s wedding.

“My heart is so full, for my family to have all been here for such an incredible occasion for my brother’s wedding, so much love and energy on the streets of NYC,” Patel wrote in an Instagram post.

The video showed a massive crowd, all dancing and enjoying Bollywood songs on the New York City streets.

Several men wearing pink turbans and women in traditional attire can be seen dancing in the video in which the 38-year-old says, “we shut down Broadway for my brother’s wedding… and we danced like desi rockstars”.

Further, Suraj Patel shared his experiments saying his heart is full seeing all the family members coming together to celebrate his brother’s wedding.

Through Instagram captions, Suraj mentioned the love and energy he shared with his family on the streets of NYC.
