WhatsApp starts rolling out ‘split view’ feature on Android beta for tablets – Times of India

WhatsApp has been continuously improving its features over the years. Now, the company has started rolling out the Split View feature on Android beta for tablets. This feature will enable users to view multiple WhatsApp options simultaneously on their tablets. With this new addition, users can easily keep up with conversations while they are using other WhatsApp features on their tablets.
According to a report by WABetaInfo, the website that tracks changes in WhatsApp, the platform will allow Android tablet users to use the split view feature on the tablet version of the app.
Usually, the conversation (chat) tab takes up the entire screen when a user opens WhatsApp when the users open a chat on the tablet version of the app, the report added. In order to open any other WhatsApp conversation, the user has to go back to the chat list and then chat.
The new feature will allow WhatsApp users to view other chats while the existing conversation is going on.

The split view will help users to manage and organise chats by quickly scrolling through the list of conversations without having the need to exit the current chat.
