What is the meaning of Virat Kolhi’s latest tattoo? Artist reveals
” I could hardly believe it – this cricket superstar was actually a fan of our work. I have seen incredible success in the past decade, but having Virat Kohli as a client was truly a dream come true,” he said.
But due to King Kohli’s busy schedule, the project did not materialize. However, last month Kohli contacted him again with a new request, says Bhanushali: “He wanted to cover-up his old tattoo with a new one. A new tattoo that would reflect his spirituality, something that would represent the interconnectedness of all things and the source of creation itself, something which depict higher ones and oneness, the structure of life, the source of all.”
Bhanushali admitted the that pressure was building inside him as started to work with King Kohli. “As I got to work on the project, I felt the pressure and excitement building up inside me. I couldn’t believe that I was working with the one and only Virat Kohli. I could feel the energy and passion that Virat brought to the project. It was clear to me that this tattoo meant a lot to him, and he was determined to get it just right. I poured my heart and soul into the design, meticulously crafting each element to perfection, ” the tattoo artist said. The design, crafted over several days, was finally complete.
Meaning
“Each element of the design holds a strong spiritual significance. The metatron cube is believed to be a sacred geometric symbol that contains all the shapes and patterns in the universe. The septagon represents perfection, harmony, and balance. The geometrical flower symbolizes the interconnectedness of all things, and the cubic pattern is a symbol of stability and structure. All of these elements come together in a beautiful and intricate design that is meant to inspire a sense of unity and connectedness with the universe. It is a powerful reminder that we are all part of something greater than ourselves and that we are all connected in a profound way,” Bhanushali said.
“Virat felt a deep sense of connection to his design. He knew that this tattoo would not only be a beautiful work of art but also a powerful reminder of his spiritual journey.”
After the design, Devendra Palav took up the actual job. “As I completed the design, I knew that it required an expert’s touch. The intricate details and the fine lines, the intricate dotwork, needed a skilled hand that could do justice to the design. I expertise in realism work and I knew someone can do this way better than me, Devendra Palav, an award-winning artist at Aliens Tattoo. His expertise in geometric and dotwork style were perfect for this design. I recommended him to Virat, and he trusted my decision. I knew that Virat’s tattoo would be in good hands, and I could rest easy knowing that Devendra would do an excellent job.”
On the day of the tattoo session, the studio was shut and private guards were stationed. Due to Virat’s packed schedule, the tattooing process was divided into two sessions. The first session in Mumbai studio, where he spent six hours getting his tattoo done, and the second consecutive session of 8 hours in Bangalore studio.
“Despite the long hours and the physical discomfort that comes with getting a tattoo, Virat never once complained or showed any signs of fatigue. His dedication to the project was unwavering, and it was clear that this tattoo meant the world to him,” Bhanushali said.
