West Ham’s annoyance is reportedly rising over delays in getting Declan Rice’s West Ham move over the line.
There have been delays with Arsenal’s lawyers in sorting the relevant paperwork, leaving the Hammers waiting to sign the contracts – despite the £105million move being agreed in principle on 28th June.
It is inconvenient at the least for West Ham, who would benefit enormously in the transfer market by having the financial boost from his sale fully sealed.
Arsenal are aiming to finalise the deal before they jet off to the USA on Sunday, as per Sky Sports.
Seemingly, the Gunners’ lawyers are deliberating over the exact wording of the deal.

Rice’s move will smash the Gunners’ previous transfer record – a £72m move for Nicolas Pepe in 2019 – and will be the second-biggest British move of all time, behind Enzo Fernandez’ £106.8m switch from Benfica to Chelsea in January.
Alongside that of Rice, Arsenal expect Jurrien Timber’s £40m switch over the line this week.
The 22-year-old Ajax defender, who has turned out for the Netherlands 15 times, isseen as one of the hottest defensive prospects on the continent.
On Monday, West Ham showed off their new home shirt for the 2023-24 season – but there was no sign of Rice.
The Irons have been looking into the possibility of bringing in James Ward-Prowse to replace him. Southampton want £40m, but the London outfit were thinking more along the lines of £20m.
