Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were snapped at the airport on Sunday, leaving the city for a birthday trip. As Ranbir will turn 39 on September 28, the lovebirds reportedly took off to Jodhpur for a private celebration. Last year, Ranbir had celebrated his birthday in Mumbai with mother, Neetu Kapoor, sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and Alia. A few reports suggest that Ranbir and Alia are in Rajasthan to check out wedding venues for their upcoming nuptials.

Interestingly, last year, Ranbir had revealed that if it weren’t for the pandemic then he would have tied the knot with his girlfriend Alia Bhatt. The actor had also expressed that he wants to tick mark the wedding goal soon. All through lockdown, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor were staying together and the actress was like a pillar of support to the Kapoors when Rishi Kapoor passed away in April 2020. She has also been accompanying Ranbir and Neetu Kapoor to oversee the construction work at the Kapoor’s plush bungalow Krishnaraj.

While Ranbir and Alia continue to make news for their real life romance, the couple is all set to treat fans with their reel-life chemistry too. Ranbir and Alia will soon be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’. This sci-fi drama also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles. Apart from this, Ranbir has ‘Shamshera’ and ‘Animal’ in the pipeline. While Alia Bhatt will be seen in ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, ‘RRR’, ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’, ‘Darlings’ and ‘Jee Le Zaraa’.
