Tonight’s 94th annual Oscars ceremony was filled with A-list talent, all of whom brought their fashion A-game to the red carpet (thanks to a handful of powerhouse stylists, that is). Even better than all of the solo celebrity moments tonight, however, were the couples—double the style! The evening had no shortage of famous duos, but one couple stood out as the night’s breakout pair: actor Naomi Scott and football player Jordan Spence.
Both clad in striking Fendi looks, Scott and Spence brought serious sizzle factor to the carpet. Scott, who is a presenter tonight, wore a purple, embroidered silk gown from Fendi’s spring 2022 Couture collection. The floor-length dress featured a removable cape, which added just the right amount of architectural shape to the ensemble. To allow his wife to shine, Spence wore a classic black, double-breasted suit complete with a black shirt, tie, and patent lace-ups to match. Against her statement dress, his monochromatic palette felt fresh and modern.
Scott and Spence are no stranger to coordinating for the red carpet. Back in 2019, they attended the premiere of Scott’s Aladdin together—she in a pink, high-neckline gown by Brandon Maxwell, and he in a complementary light blue suit. Later that year, they also attended the spring 2020 Burberry show in London wearing his-and-hers black and white ensembles. Given that they rose to the occasion of the Oscars, it’s safe to say they only have a bright future ahead on the step and repeat. We want more.
