Wayne Rooney’s son Kai branded Marcus Rashford a ‘legend’ as he posed with the Manchester United forward.
While it is unclear when the picture was taken, the teenager was all smiles as he wore Red Devils training gear to snap a picture with Rashford.
Kai added the image to his Instagram story accompanied by a salute emoji.

The teenager is emulating his father’s footsteps, and currently plays for Manchester United’s academy
Wayne, who was Rashford’s team-mate when the forward was starting out in the United first team, re-shared the image with the caption: ‘Thanks @marcusrashford.’
Kai is registered to the Red Devils academy, and is tipped for a bright future and raised eyebrows with some strong performances last season.
He scored 53 goals as he potentially looks to emulate the success his dad – who now manages in America – achieved during his career.
It’s currently the off-season in the MLS, and Wayne is preparing his DC United side for a fresh campaign in 2023.
They endured a difficult 2022 season, finishing bottom of the Eastern conference.
Rooney took over the side in July having just been relegated to League One with Derby County back in England.
Rashford has been in fine form for the Red Devils this season, and is looking back to his best
