“To be honest, my hair is a little bit messy,” Maluma confesses when Vogue catches up with him ahead of Pharrell’s Louis Vuitton show in Paris. But to be equally honest, we think he looks perfect—although it’s hard to tell under his Palm Angels trucker hat (which may, in fact, be the point of the hat). The 29-year-old Colombian singer-songwriter was excited to be in Paris for Pharrell’s debut on the Pont Neuf, saying: “We’re about to see something pretty magical.”
Soon enough, it’s time to try on his look for the night, with Maluma noting that he’s been looking for comfortable, colorful suiting. He describes his final selection as “epic, modern, and chic,” and upon glimpsing it, we can’t disagree (no spoilers, though—you’ll have to watch the full video to clock the ’fit for yourself). A touch of nostalgia in the form of a vintage Cartier timepiece completes the outfit, and with that—after a little styling—he’s ready to go witness fashion history.
