The name itself is a huge reminder of the nostalgia we have around Maggi. To this day, millions of Indians call Maggi their ultimate comfort food. And, you can imagine the rage the blogger faced when she messed up this Indian favourite. However, instead of ignoring the comments, the blogger heard all of the suggestions and uploaded another video with a changed recipe. The blogger is called Lisa Ngyuen and has amassed 3.23 million subscribers on YouTube. She is famous on Instagram too. Her last video where she made Maggi was a short one; she follows the instruction on the packet and prepares a decent looking bowl of Maggi. However, an Indian kid sends her a detailed lengthy voice note explaining how she should never follow the rules written on the packet and how to make Maggi the right way.

The video starts with Lisa playing the audio note that she received from the Indian kid who explains that ‘we Indians never follow the rules’. He then tells her how to make the classic vegetable Indian Maggi with onions, garlic, tomatoes, vegetables and other ingredients. Everyone in India has their own little modifications they do to the basic way of cooking it. A lot of people do like it plain but I think, as Indians, our collective extra gene forces us to add more spice and flavour.”

“Never in my entire life I’ve eaten Maggi this way but sure I’m gonna try it. Thank u to whoever sent those voice notes to her”

“That was a first for me being an India, especially with the potatoes…This guy really put his all into this recipe. I understand how he must be feeling about people having plain maggi haha.”

“Oh my God…So impressed by the detailed and specific instructions this boy definitely needed a shoutout really very smart boy”

We are definitely going to try this recipe soon! What about you? Would you try this at home? Let us know in the comments below.
