Watch: Colin Cowherd names his NFL MVP, and its not Aaron Rodgers

You can add Colin Cowherd to the list of people who doesn’t think Aaron Rodgers should take home MVP honors.

Colin Cowherd is at it again and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers surely isn’t going to like his most-recent comments. Rodgers, in the middle of another brilliant year, is the front-runner to take home the MVP award.

Cowherd doesn’t think that should happen, though, as he has come out and said that Cincinnati Bengals’ star Joe Burrow should be the MVP this season. So, do fans agree?

Colin Cowherd calling for Joe Burrow to win MVP is surprising

This is going to fire up countless folks all over Wisconsin. Rodgers has been brilliant this year, tossing for 35 touchdowns and only four interceptions. As for Burrow, he has 34 scores and 14 interceptions to his name.

Burrow also just led the Bengals to a huge win over the Kansas City Chiefs and he has the AFC North side looking like a serious threat to go on a deep postseason run. Will that be enough to dethrone Rodgers as MVP?

While Burrow has been a rockstar this year on the field, Rodgers has Green Bay as the Super Bowl favorites. Green Bay is 13-3 on the year and they’ve locked in the No. 1 seed in the NFC, resulting in the coveted home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. If Rodgers does power Green Bay to another Super Bowl trip, how in the world could he not win it?

For Cowherd, he’s standing firm on the Burrow train and clearly doesn’t want to see Rodgers claim even more glory. Unfortunately for him, Rodgers isn’t going to let any outside noise ruin his postseason. If anything, it’s only going to fuel him to shut everyone up.
