Varun Dhawan’s collaboration with Atlee is getting exciting by the day! After it was revealed that Keerthy Suresh will mark her Bollywood debut with this movie, yet another actress has joined the cast.

ETimes has learnt that Wamiqa Gabbihas been roped in as the second leading lady in the movie. A source told ETimes, “The makers held a small muhurat of the film at a five star hotel in Mumbai a few days ago.

South actress Keerthy Suresh has already been finalized and Wamiqa has also joined the cast.” With Atlee producing this venture, Kalees will be calling the shots.
Currently, Varun has been pretty vocal about the reception to his latest release ‘Bawaal’ with co-star Janhvi Kapoor. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, this film released an OTT on July 21. Speaking about working with the ‘Dangal’ director, Varun had shared, “Working with Nitesh sir was always on my bucket list. I still remember, I often asked Nitesh sir to make a film with me in covid times. Finally, after 7 8 months, he had a story for me. I personally feel it is one of my best characters. This is closest to the reality.”
The film is produced by Murad Khetani and Priya Atlee, presented by Atlee. #VD18, as the movie is being referred to, is slated to release worldwide on May 31, 2024. The film is written and directed by Kalees.
