Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri kickstarts final schedule of ‘The Vaccine War’ | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

On Saturday, filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri informed his followers on Twitter that he has kickstarted the last schedule of his upcoming film ‘The Vaccine War’. He shared a few BTS pictures on social media and wrote, “With the blessings of Maa Saraswati, beginning last schedule of #TheVaccineWar”.
With ‘The Vaccine War’, Vivekpromises to narrate a story based on true events amid the pandemic.Revealing details about the shoot, a source shared, “Currently, The Vaccine War is being shot in a secret location withNana Patekar, Sapthami Gowda and the other starcast. There is a strict no phone policy on sets for one week so that nothing gets leaked.”

‘The Vaccine War’ was scheduled to hit the screens on August 15, but has been postponed to Dussehra. Buzz is that the makers want to host a pre-release screening in USA, before the theatrical release of ‘The Vaccine War’ in India. This decision has caused a delay in the release of ‘The Vaccine War’. ‘The Vaccine War’ features Anupam Kher and Nana Patekar in pivotal roles.
Speaking about the project, Vivek had previously shared, “When ‘The Kashmir Files’ was postponed during Covid-19 lockdown, I started researching it. We also started researching with the scientists of ICMR and NIV, who made our own vaccine possible. Their story of struggle and sacrifice was overwhelming and we understood how these scientists fought a war waged against India not just by foreign agencies but even our own people. Yet, we won against superpowers by making the fastest, cheapest and safest vaccine. I thought this story must be told so that every Indian can feel proud of their country. This will be India’s first pure science film about a bio-war we had no idea about.”
