What happened on Day 3 in the fourth Test between India and England at The Oval was a befitting answer to those negative reports as Virat Kohli was seen enjoying the success of Rohit Sharma. Kohli jumped in joy when Rohit reached his century minutes before the Tea break.

Captain Kohli was seen punching his fists and he was all smiles when Rohit Sharma acknowledged the dressing room by raising his bat. Rohit’s wife Ritika was also present in the stands and her reaction also grabbed a lot of attention.

The hundred at The Oval will always remain special for Rohit Sharma as it was his first century in overseas Tests. Rohit reached the important milestone in style with a six off Moeen Ali.

Rohit Sharma took eight years to score his first overseas hundred and it would not be wrong to say that this ton will rank as one of the best among his eight hundreds.

Rohit hit 14 fours and a six before he was dismissed by Ollie Robinson for 127. India ended the Day 3 at 270 for 3 with a lead of 171 runs. Skipper Virat Kohli was unbeaten on 22 runs with Ravindra Jadeja (9 batting).
