Viral Video: Unique Korean ‘Ramen Bar’ At Asian Wedding Is A Massive Hit
Korean food has been one of the most trending ones globally in the past few years. Thanks to the popularity of K-dramas and K-pop music, Korean cuisine has also carved a special place in our palates. Korean ramen, especially, has garnered a fan following of its own across the world. A soupy noodle recipe with vegetables, meat and broth – Korean ramen is unlike anything you’ve ever tasted before. The best part about Korean ramen is that it can be prepared and savoured instantly – just add hot water to the readymade ramen packets available in the market. But have you ever heard the concept of a ramen bar? Believe it or not, a couple organised this unique live counter at their wedding and the video went viral on Instagram. Take a look:
The video was uploaded on Instagram Reels by popular Korean-American chef Chris Cho. The Korean Ramen live counter video has gone viral, amassing over 3.9 million views and 209k likes on the social media platform. “Ramen bar at an Asian wedding!! Yep we really did that. Best idea ever (Wifey’s idea btw) and tell Soulja Boy we did it FIRST,” wrote the chef in the caption of the video.
In the clip, we could see a beautiful wedding setup with many guests attending the ceremony. People were in merry spirits and making the most of the night. But what caught our attention was the interesting and innovative Ramen bar at the reception. The video showed how people were taking bowls of instant Korean Ramen and simply adding hot water to it and enjoying it with chopsticks. The idea was incredibly creative and seemed to be a simple and cost-effective treat to enjoy at the wedding!

Instagram users truly enjoyed the concept of having a Korean ramen bar at the wedding. Several thousand people left their thoughts in the comments section. “Yesssiirrrr! Changing the wedding game forever,” said one user while another wrote, “Taking notes for my future events!” Another user said, “All the chefs in that family and they had instant ramen!”
