Viral: Shikhar Dhawan Being Served Food In Typical Indian-Style Is Relatable And Hilarious

Shikhar Dhawan enjoys immense fandom with his fans rooting for him on the fields and also on social media. The fact that he keeps his 11.1 million followers on Instagram entertained adds up to his popularity on the photo-sharing platform. Shikhar Dhawan has quite a funny bone, and just like his other posts, this latest reel is cracking us up. He posted a video of himself eating a homemade Indian meal at his dinner table. It sounds usual but it’s not. The way he is pampered by his house help/cooks reminds us of all Indian parents who stuff our stomachs with a bit too much food.

Be it our own parents or relatives we are visiting, it’s not easy to leave the table without our stomach full (overfull, many times). Shikhar Dhawan had to go through the same situation, but with a spin of humour. In the video her posted on Instagram, he is seen eating on the dining table and two persons are serving him food. What’s so funny about it? Watch the video below to find out.

On the table we can see some rotis, a creamy curry, rice and a bowl of salad. His plate is already full of all the dishes but his helpers can be seen topping it with some more. Shikhar desperately resists by saying “Arey nahi hai jagah” (there’s no more space). But the helpers ignore him and keep serving him rice and gravy saying, “bahut jagah hai” (there is lot of space).

The funny video is so relatable that it went viral with more than 2 million views, over 3 lakh likes and more than 2000 comments like:

“Gabar sher aap khate jao bahut jagah hai” (Gabbar sher, you keep eating, there’s lots of space).

“Senior player to junior player when team India chose their playing 11: nhi jagah hai then junior players to senior players: bhot jagah hai”

“I love your funny videos Shikhar Dhawan sir and I am your big fan”

“After cricket, definitely he will become actor”

“Bhai mote ho jaoge match kon khelega” (Brother if you get fat, who will play the matches?)
