The Indian showbiz industry woke up to the shocking news of actor Sidharth Shukla’s demise on Thursday. Colleagues and friends expressed their grief on Twitter. He was 40. The actor passed away in Mumbai after suffering a massive heart attack in the morning. It is learnt that Shukla suffered a massive heart attack in the morning. The actor was brought dead to the city’s Cooper Hospital, an official told PTI.

Vikrant Massey recently took to his social media handle to remember the late Sidharth Shukla. The actor posted a picture of the star and penned a heartfelt note. He wrote, ”Absolutely stunned into silence! Your untimely death is yet again a reminder of the fragility of life! Deepest condolences of the family, friends and fans!”

Recently, Varun Dhawan penned an emotional note for his ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ co-star Sidharth Shukla. He posted an emotional note on Instagram, sharing pictures with him and co-star Alia Bhatt from the 2014 film’s promotions. “Rip brother. You are loved by so many and you touched so many with your kind heart and beautiful personality. Today heaven has gained a star and we have lost one. My deepest condolences to the family and loved ones,” Dhawan wrote.

A few days back, he featured in the Hindi romance web series- ‘Broken But Beautiful’. The first two seasons are about the story of Veer and Sameera played by Vikrant Massey and Harleen Sethi respectively. The third season introduced a new story of Agastya and Rumi played by Sidharth and Sonia Rathee respectively.
