Vikram Gokhale passes away: Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher, Sanjay Gupta and others mourn the loss of the veteran star – Times of India

Gokhale was undergoing treatment at the hospital. His condition had become quite stable after the timely intervention. However, his health started deteriorating again, and he was in a critical condition. His last rites will be performed this evening at a crematorium in Pune.

Following the news of his demise, his Bollywood counterparts and fans mourned the loss of the veteran actor and also shared messages of condolence for his family. Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher, Sanjay Gupta and others took to their social media handles to condole with his demise.

He has been part of films like ‘Mission Mangal’, ‘Hichki’, ‘De Dana Dan’, ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’, and ‘Agneepath’. He won the National Film Award under the ‘Best Actor’ category for the film ‘Anumati’ directed by Gajendra Ahire.

Gokhale is survived by his wife Vrushali Gokhale and two daughters.
