Vijay Deverakonda has his fan-moment with Mike Tyson on ‘Liger’ sets; says ‘this one will forever be special’ – Times of India

The actor, who flew out of the country to film portions of ‘Liger’ with the boxing champ, took to his social media handles to share a happy picture with the star.

“This man is love. Every moment I am making memories! And this one will forever be special… #Liger Vs The Legend… When I came face to face with Iron @MikeTyson,” he captioned a photo that saw the posing for a dramatic shot.

The boxing legend is set to make his Bollywood debut with this upcoming film produced by Karan Johar. Shooting for the Puri Jagannadh directorial is currently on in full swing.

Producer Charmme Kaur recently shared pictures of the team in the US and captioned it as, “Team #Liger reporting from vegas. (sic)”

This exciting update comes months after Karan Johar, announced that the former professional boxer will join Devrakonda in the ring.

“For the first time ever, the king of the ring will be seen on the big screens of Indian cinema! Welcoming @MikeTyson to the #LIGER team,” Karan wrote in a tweet.

On the occasion of Diwali, Mike shared his fiery first look from the film, writing, “Namaste INDIA. Be ready to get the ever loving shit beat out of you #LIGER @thedeverakonda. #AagLagaDenge. Happy Diwali.. (sic)”

To this, Vijay replied, “Namaste. Happy Diwali & lots of love from India. Coming to see you in Vegas…Fireworks shall go off across the world. Pakka #AagLagaDenge. #LIGER. (sic)”

Liger is a bi-lingual being shot in both Telugu and Hindi. The film which will also see Ananya Panday, Ramya Krishnan, Makarand Deshpande and Ronit Roy in key roles will chronicle the life of a MMA fighter.
