‘Viduthalai Part 1’ box office day 1: Vijay Sethupathi and Soori starrer gets a vibrant response – Times of India

Vetrimaaran’s ‘Viduthalai’ was released in theatres on March 31. The film starring Vijay Sethupathi and Soori in lead roles got a massive response from fans. The internet was filled with positive reviews for the movie and it has once again proved to be one of the best films of Vetrimaaran. ‘Viduthalai’ is a socio political drama and the film has been certified ‘A’.
According to reports, ‘Viduthalai’ has minted Rs 3.5 crore on day 1 of its release. The film has been critically acclaimed and Vetrimaaran has been praised by many actors and directors for taking a bold step in making the movie. Actor Soori has also played a serious role in the movie, unlike his other comedy roles and has won the hearts of the people with his acting skills.

The film will be released in two parts and the second part will be released in September this year. The first part has already been well received and it stars Vijay Sethupathi, Soori, Bhavani Sre, Gautham Vasudev Menon and Rajiv Menon. The music for the movie is composed by Ilaiyaraaja.
