Video of a man brushing his teeth inside a Delhi Metro train goes viral

Recently, a video of a scantily clad woman inside a Delhi metro coach went viral on social media. Now another video of the Delhi Metro has surfaced, and it too has gone viral. This time, a man can be seen brushing his teeth inside a Delhi Metro train coach.

The video was posted by one Mohit Gauhar on his Instagram account. It was posted in November 2022 but has now gone viral with over 81,000 likes and over a million views.

The man can be seen moving from one compartment to another while brushing his teeth.

Netizens, however, were divided over the action of the person, with some wowed by his confidence while others slammed him for his lack of hygiene and etiquette.

Curiously, Mohit Gauhar has posted another video, supposedly of the same person, moving from one compartment to another in a Delhi metro train wearing a T-shirt and a towel.

This is not the first time that such viral videos from the Delhi metro have surfaced.

A huge controversy erupted some time ago after a woman in bare minimum clothing travelling in the Delhi Metro surfaced. Soon after, a video of a woman dancing on the Delhi Metro platform went viral.Delhi Metro had in the past advised commuters to follow all social etiquette and protocols.

“Commuters should not indulge in any activity or wear any attire that could offend the sensibilities of other passengers,” the advisory read.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation’s Operations and Maintenance Act lists indecency as a punishable offence under Section 59.

“We appeal to all our passengers to kindly maintain decorum while travelling in a public transport system like the Metro. However, issues such as the choice of clothing while travelling is a personal issue and passengers are expected to self-regulate their conduct in a responsible manner,” the DMRC added.

DMRC had also on several occassions warned passengers against making insta reels or dance videos inside Delhi metro, saying they would be fined if caught doing so.

“Filming reels, dance videos or any other such activities that may cause inconvenience to the passengers is strictly prohibited inside the Delhi Metro,” DMRC had said in a release in March this year.
