Veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh gave a sharp retort to Pakistani fans over allegation that India-Afghanistan match in T20 World Cup 2021 was fixed.

He on Saturday shared a video on YouTube addressing the Pakistan fans.

He said: “We all know your cricketers’ reputation,” adding that, “Pakistan fans are unable to digest their win over India.”

He said that Pakistani fans should delete their “useless” Twitter accounts.

He also that that he was hoping that India faces Pakistan in T20 World Cup finals and that is where India will give them an apt reply.

In the video, Harbhajan admitted that Pakistan have without doubt done well winning all four of their matches to secure a semi-finals spot and that Babar Azam and his team deserve all the praise, but to allege  that India’s victories were due to the matches being fixed is absurd.

“We accept that Pakistan have played very good cricket and everyone also appreciates them for playing so well against India and beating them. Congratulations on that. But if you start misbehaving by claiming that you play fair cricket and if we win, you doubt us, term it unfair, fixed then that is wrong. We all know your cricketers’ reputation.”

“Pakistan fans are unable to digest their win over India, which they got after waiting for so many years in World Cups. There is a way to talk. But people are leveling serious allegations against us, against Rashid Khan, which is in bad taste and disgraceful,” he said in the video.

Social media has been full of negative comments about Indian cricketers ever since Virat Kohli’s men suffered a 10-wicket defeat against Pakistan in their T20 World Cup 2021 opener. India’s recent wins over Afghanistan and Scotland have earned them a small chance to make it to the semi-finals, although it will entirely be possible if Afghanistan beat New Zealand.
