Varun Dhawan has been hitting the headlines for quite some time now for all the reactions he has been getting for his last release, ‘Bawaal‘. The actor will soon start shooting for his next with Atlee.

According to a latest report in a news portal, the first schedule of Atlee’s next will be 15-days long which will bring together Varun Dhawan as well as Keerthy Suresh who’ll be making her big Bollywooddebut.

They are reportedly expected to film some romantic and dramatic scenes together. This prolusion stint will be followed by an action-packed schedule where Varun will be seen performing some very stylish and larger-than-life action sequences, the report in Pinkvilla stated.Reports are rife that the film is a remake of the Tamil film, ‘Theri‘ which was also directed by Atlee. Varun shared that this much-awaited Atlee movie will release on May 31, 2024.

Meanwhile, apart from this, Varun is also a part of Raj and DK’s ‘Citadel India’ where he will be sharing the screen space with none other than Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The American version of the Citadel starred Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden.

Atlee, on the other hand, is awaiting the release of his next, ‘Jawan‘ starring Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara in the lead roles. It also features Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra and Ridhi Dogra in key roles. The film also boasts of special cameos by Deepika Padukone, Sanjay Dutt and Vijay. ‘Jawan’ is slated to hit the theatres on September 7, 2023.
