Varun Sharma says comedy became his forte because of ‘Fukrey’; spills details on ‘Fukrey 3’ – Times of India

In an interview with a news portal, Varun revealed that his first film, ‘Fukrey’ was very tough for him because that was his first attempt at comedy. The actor also shared how he used to do only serious roles in plays before that. So when he was offered ‘Fukrey’, he had no idea what he was going to do. According to him, it was director Mrighdeep Singh Lamba who nurtured him and got Choocha out of him.

Elaborating further, Varun added that it was an impeccable yet tough journey. He also went on to say that he genuinely didn’t know that because of ‘Fukrey’, comedy will become his forte.

Spilling some beans on the much-awaited ‘Fukrey 3’, Varun said that the film will be very amusing. The actor called the film very special because it was a start for all of them. Now to revisit the same character after so many years again and start from where they left, has been remarkable. The film is going to be phenomenal and they are very excited about it, Varun told IndiaToday.in.

The film will yet again see Pulkit Samrat, Manjot, Varun Sharma, and Richa Chadha among others.
