Varun Dhawan is currently awaiting the release of his highly anticipated next ‘Bhediya’ with Kriti Sanon. The film is all set to release later this month. Ahead of that, as the team gears up for their promotions, buzz is that, the Amar Kaushik directorial will have a grand premiere at the International Film Festival Of India in Goa ahead of the theatrical release.

ETimes has exclusively learnt that Varun will be performing various dance numbers on Bhediya songs as well as for a bunch of patriotic songs. The actor’s onstage energy has always been commendable and surely viewers and fans are going to witness that come alive.

A source close to the Bhediya team had earlier informed that, this grand premiere will prove to be a win-win for everyone and since Bhediya has been highly anticipated ever since it’s announcement, the IFFI team believes that it would bring in great excitement.

Speaking of Bhediya, the film also stars Kriti Sanon as the leading lady. The project also marks Varun and Kriti’s second collaboration after the hit film ‘Dilwale’. Varun will be essaying the role of a youngster who transforms into a werewolf after being attacked by a wolf. On the other hand, Kriti plays the role of Dr Anika in the movie. The film also stars Abhishek Banerjee, Deepak Dobriyal in pivotal role.

Amid all the promotions, Varun recently opened up about battling vestibular hypofunction – disorder affects the balance of an individual. Apart from that, Varun also confessed about pushing himself too hard post pandemic.

During a event in Mumbai, Varun said that he was forced to take a break after he got diagnosed with vestibular hypofunction. He shared that things also changed post pandemic for him. At the India Today conclave he said, that he started pushing himself much harder with his film JugJugg Jeeyo. “it felt like I was running for an election. I don’t know why, but I put so much pressure on myself” shared shared.

He further added, “Recently, I just shut down. I didn’t know what had happened to me. I had this thing called vestibular hypofunction, (where) basically your balance goes off. But I just pushed myself so hard. We are just running in this race, nobody is asking why. I think there is a greater purpose (why) we are all here. I am trying to find mine, and hopefully, people will find theirs.”
