Varun Dhawan opens up on the difficult path to become an actor, reveals he was constantly at ‘war’ to be successful | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Actor Varun Dhawan is eagerly looking forward for the premiere of his next Bawaal, opposite Janhvi Kapoor. The actor in the meanwhile, opened up about his journey and how there was a constant war to be successful.

In an interview to Pinkvilla, Varun was asked what was his biggest war in life so far. The actor said that becoming a successful actor, managing good relationships with his loved and dear ones and friends, that’s a constant war for him, to balance out the personal and professional.
He also added that sometimes, it gets tough and he gets consumed with his work.

He further said that for him, it is always about two distinctions – to give his best each year, but to also have the best year.
Coming back to Bawaal, Varun said collaborating with filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari on the project helped him get back to the basics of his craft that led him to acting in the first place. Dhawan said while trying to “come across a certain way” on screen, actors often forget simple things and ‘Bawaal’ helped him refocus on them.
“When you’re in a field for a very long time, you often overlook the simple things… Things that got you to the party in the first place. It’s just about getting these simple things correct,” the actor told PTI in a group interview at an event in Dubai where the team launched the film’s trailer.
Bawaal will premiere on OTT in India and across 200 countries and territories worldwide.
