Varun Dhawan announces the release date of his next film with Atlee – Deets inside – Times of India

A while ago, reports suggested that Varun Dhawan has teamed up with Atlee for an action entertainer. Atlee is gearing up for the release of his next ‘Jawan’, With Shah Rukh Khan and once the film releases on September 7, the director is touted to begin work on his next with Varun.
Varun surprised his fans today as he dropped the release date of his next on his Instagram story.The actor wrote, “VD18 May 31st 2024 in theatres”.

However, Atlee is only going to produce the film reportedly. It shall be directed by Kalees and shall star Anushka Sharma. If rumours of Anushka starring in the film are true, this will be the second time that Anushka and Varun will collaborate with each other after ‘Sui Dhaga‘. Fans loved their off-screen camaraderie.
While Varun announced the release date, he hasn’t divulged into any details. But reports suggest that this story is high on emotion, drama and action. At the moment, Atlee is working on the post production of ‘Jawan’ post which more on this Varun starrer movie will be finalised.
Varun is gearing up for the release of his next ‘Bawaal’ directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The film stars Janhvi Kapoor. ‘Bawaal’ is the first Indian movie which is set to have its premiere in Paris since, it also plays an important part of the film.
Meanwhile, he’s currently shooting for another actioner – his first web-series, ‘Citadel’. The show stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu alongside the actor and is made by Raj and DK.
