‘Varisu’ box office collection day 7: Vijay’s film to become the first Indian film to gross Rs 200 crore in 2023 – Times of India

On Jan 16, the makers of ‘Varisu’ officially announced the film grossing over Rs 150 crores, and again the makers have come up with an official announcement confirming the film reaching Rs 200 crores with a stunning poster of Vijay. ‘Varisu’ is expected to gross more than Vijay’s last film ‘Beast’ collection and it won’t be a wonder if the film becomes the actor’s second 300 crore grosser after the 2019 sports drama ‘Bigil’.

Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, ‘Varisu’ is an emotional family drama filled with comedy, action, and sentiment to be an entertaining film.
