Uorfi Javed REACTS to Ameesha Patel’s take on homosexual content: ‘Not getting work for 25 years has made her into a very bitter person’ | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Ameesha Patel has been receiving flak from the internet after she expressed her opnion on the homosexual content available on the OTT platform. The recent one to slam the actress was none other than Uorfi Javed.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Uorfi wrote, ‘What is actually gayism, lesbianism? Keep your children away from it? So when she said ‘kaho na Pyar hai’ she meant only straight people.Public figures speaking without educating themselves on such sensitive topics really irks me! Not getting work for 25 years has made her into a very bitter person (sic)’.

During an interview, Ameesha had said that people are waiting for good, clean cinema. However, she feels OTT doesn’t give you that. According to her, OTT is full of, homosexuality, gay-lesbianism… Scenes that you have to cover your kids’ eyes or actually put a child lock on your television so they can’t access those platforms. The actress further added that it is not something you really want your kids to watch.

Ameesha will be making a comeback on the silver screen with Anil Sharma‘s ‘Gadar 2‘ co-starring Sunny Deol. The film will continue the story of Tara Singh and Sakina from where it was left in the first part. The film also stars Utkarsh Sharma in a key role. The film will hit the theatres on August 11, 2023 and will be locking horns with Akshay Kumar starrer ‘OMG 2’.
