Union Minister Smriti Irani posts two hilarious clips from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. See details
The politician, who is an avid Instagram user, has shared two hilarious clips where Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’s Jethalal and his on-screen wife Daya can be seen. The post was shared by the minister on social media on Tuesday.
In the first clip, Jethalal asks Daya, “Jab bhagwan akal baant raha tha tab kahan ghoom rahi thi tu (Where were you when god was distributing brains)?” She says, “Aapke saath phere le rahi thi (I was getting married to you).”
In the next video, Daya asks Jethalal, “Mujhe bataiye ek kilo gehun mein kitne daane hote hai (Tell me how many grains do you have in 1 kg wheat)?” When he is not able to reply, she makes him eat badam. Then, she asks him, “Ab bataiye ek darjan mein kitne kele hote hain (How many bananas do you have in 1 kg)?” He says 12. On this, she says, “Dekha badam ka kamaal (See this is what eating badam does).”
Irani, who looked to give advice to married people, posted, “Moral of the story — those who have taken pheras please eat badam #dayabhabhi rocks 1 clip courtesy Internet 2 clips courtesy Jetha Lal.” A fan praised Smriti and posted, “Your sense of humour is on point.”
In a bid to stay connected with her followers, Irani seems to be often sharing updates from her day-to-day life on the platform. She seems to have lit up the internet with some hilarious memes lately. These also seem to be hard to miss. Many times, the minister also uses her selfies to crack jokes on life and love. Irani also shared a happy picture of herself while holding a bunch of balloons last week on social media. “Fri’YAY’..for all those who look forward to another weekend of work,” said the minister in the caption of the post shared on Friday last week.
