Tyreek Hill reveals retirement plan

Tyreek Hill gave some insight on his retirement plans on Wednesday, and it’s approaching faster than many expected.

The Dolphins wide receiver told Sports Radio 810 that he’ll call it quits after the 2025 season.

“I’m going for 10,” Hill said, referring to how many seasons he wants to play in the NFL He’s entering his eighth season in 2023 and second in Miami. He signed a four-year, $120 million contract last offseason.

“I want to do so many things in my life,” Hill said, before explaining he has plans to get into the gaming community. “I’m creating a gaming team … It should be launched by the end of this month.”

The Dolphins made the playoffs last year for the first time since 2016. The organization upgraded its defense this offseason by bringing in Vic Fangio as its defensive coordinator and trading for star cornerback Jalen Ramsey.

The team was already built to win now before Hill announced his plans to retire when his contract is up but his admission might give the team even more motivation to make moves to maximize the present.

Last season, Hill had career-highs in receptions (119) and receiving yards (1,710). Per Oddschecker, Miami (+360) has the third-best odds of winning its division and is 11th in odds to win Super Bowl LVIII (+3000).
