On the occasion of Father’s Day, actress and author Twinkle Khanna shared an appreciation post for her dear hubby Akshay Kumar and while she was at it, she also revealed the real reason why she married him.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Twinkle shared a shirtless photo of her hubby from their recent tropical getaway. She posted the click with a caption that read, “Some of the reasons for marrying Mr.K revolved around knowing he would be a great father after watching him deal with his family.”
Khanna, in her cheeky writing style, added, “The other was the hope that my future children inherit some of his fine genes. And looking at him in his fifties, I would say that his children are lucky if they have inherited half of their genetic material from him.”

“Happy Father’s Day to a man who always puts his family ahead of himself,” she concluded.
Not too long after she showered her hubby with her love, did the actor take to the comments section to pen his note of thanks. Reacting to the post, he wrote, “Love you for this Tina. Since you have assigned me the genetic department for looks, I trust you with the intellect in our kids. Make them read loads of books.”

The Great Indian Rescue‘, based on a true life event of Late Shri Jaswant Singh Gill who led India’s first coal mine rescue mission. The film will release in theatres worldwide on October 5, 2023.
Apart from this, Akshay will be next seen in ‘OMG- Oh My God 2‘ alongside Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam. The film is slated to release on August 11.

He will also be seen in the action thriller film ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan‘ alongside Tiger Shroff which is all set to hit the theatres on Eid 2024.
