Trisha Krishnan says she is honoured that she could share screens space with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in ‘Ponniyin Selvan I’; calls her beautiful inside and out – Times of India

In an interview with a news portal, the actress revealed that they got to meet and interact on the first day of the shoot itself. Trisha also added that the Bollywood actress is beautiful inside and out. In the film, Aishwarya and Trisha are not supposed to like each other. However, the actresses got along very well off the camera on the set. In fact, the director would come and stop them from talking too much because he can’t have that camaraderie in his scenes.

Further, Trisha also showered praise on Aishwarya’s fluency in the Tamil language. The actress also added that anyone who has worked with the Bollywood star would agree that she is one of the most hard-working actresses in the industry. Aishwarya used to get up at 2 AM and get ready with the entire team. She was very honoured that she could share screen space with Aishwarya, Trisha told NDTV.

‘Ponniyin Selvan I’ also stars Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and Sobhita Dhulipala in lead roles. The film is slated to release on September 30 in Hindi, Kannada, Telugu and Malayalam.
