Trellix promotes Mahipal Nair to managing director of India operations

Cybersecurity firm Trellix has promoted Mahipal Nair to Managing Director, Trellix India. He will lead the company’s India business operations. Nair had joined the company in June 2022 as Vice President/Head of Human Resources for India and APJ.

“I look forward to working closely with the team to drive innovation and growth in India, while also fostering a culture of excellence,” he said.

Nair has almost 25 years of experience across international markets. In this role, he will continue to drive the company’s culture across its workforce while leading the business operations.

“Mahi brings an interesting mix of people skills with business acumen as well as M&A and crisis management expertise. With cybersecurity becoming centre stage in all discussions, it is imperative for us to be able to nurture the best talent,” said Aparna Rayasam, Chief Product Officer, Trellix.

Prior to joining Trellix, Nair worked for Nielsen as the Chief Human Resources Officer for South Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. He has also worked with institutions like Malayala Manorama and IIHMR University in the past.
