- Tottenham played out a fiery pre-season friendly against Sevilla in South Korea
- Richarlison made his second appearance but was embroiled in a first-half brawl

- However, another angle of the drama reveals it was Gomez who lashed out first
Tottenham new boy Richarlison has been accused of throwing an apparent punch at a Sevilla player during the sides’ fiery pre-season friendly in South Korea.
A 1-1 draw was played out during their preparations for the new campaign and Richarlison, Spurs’ £50million signing, looked to make an instant impression.
However, footage has emerged seemingly showing him aiming a strike in the direction of Alejandro Gomez as several players came together in a small fracas.

The Spanish side were left infuriated after Son Heung-min caught Gonzalo Montiel, leaving him with a bloodied face and mouth, shortly before the half-time break.
Montiel had looked to tackle Ryan Sessegnon, but then ran into Son’s body in the centre of the pitch. Inadvertently, the forward hit his opponent with his elbow.
Richarlison was quick to wade into the action after the referee’s whistle blew for the interval, and a video on social media looks to show him aiming a fist at Gomez.
However, a different angle of the fracas in South Korea shows Alejandro Gomez striking first
Several players came together in the centre circle after an incident involving Son Heung-min
He was held back by team-mate Cristian Romero, and eventually the hot-headed sides dispersed to head down the tunnel and return to their dressing rooms.
However, a new angle has since surfaced, and it appears to show Gomez swinging first in the middle of the unsightly melee before Richarlison then retaliated.
Both teams had failed to net in the scrappy first half, although Harry Kane scored six minutes into the second half before Ivan Rakitic levelled the scores soon after.
Richarlison arrived from Everton in the current window after helping them secure their Premier League survival, and scored 11 goals across all competitions.
Richarlison arrived from Everton this summer, and made his debut against a K-League XI
After he made his debut in Spurs’ 6-3 friendly victory against a K-League XI, manager Antonio Conte explained why he opted to bring the forward to north London.
‘He’s a good character and has good qualities,’ Conte said.
‘We are working on the tactical aspect with him because he has to go into our idea and also the physical aspect because he has to be fit.
‘He is a player who gives me important options. I’m very happy that we signed him.’
