If you own a Realme 8 Pro or use any Realme device, you should know about these top 5 features the smartphone has to offer. Includes partial screenshot, dual mode audio and more.
When it comes to intuitive features that can make your life easier and smartphone experience more fun, you do not always need to look at the flagship devices or Apple ecosystem. A sub-Rs. 20,000 smartphone like the Realme 8 Pro can also offer you some very interesting features that you might struggle to find in other devices. Now, whether it is to use two different earphones on the same device or to automatically take partial screenshots without needing to crop it first, the Realme UI takes care of it all. And if you own a Realme device and still have not been using these features, you’re missing out. Check out the top 5 Realme 8 Pro features below.
1. Dual mode audio on Realme 8 Pro
Imagine you’re listening to music on your smartphone and your friend wants to join in. Usually, you’d just give him one of the earbuds and compromise with the audio experience. But on Realme 8 Pro, you can make use of the dual mode audio and connect two different earphones at the same time. Through this feature, you can connect two earphones together on the phone. One of them needs to be a wired earphone and the other has to be a Bluetooth earphone. And then you can go to Settings > Realme Lab > Dual Audio to turn on the feature and enjoy listening to music with your friend.
2. Take partial screenshots on Realme 8 Pro
Android devices have a feature of sliding three fingers to take a screenshot instantly. However, most of the time, we do not want to show everything on the screen and we end up cropping the image later by editing it. But doing that over and over can be a hassle. Well, on Realme UI, you can tap and hold three fingers on the part of the screen where you want to take a partial screenshot and it will open a selection box. You can adjust its size accordingly and tap on save to always get the perfect screenshots.
3. Quick one hand mode on Realme 8 Pro
Realme 8 Pro also helps you turn on the one hand mode with just one gesture. So, next time you have only one hand available, you can just pull down from the bottom of the screen to enter one hand mode and easily navigate through different apps. To turn it on, simply head to Settings > Convenience tools > Navigation button > Pull Down to Enter One-Handed Mode.
4. Draw on Screen on Realme 8 Pro
You can draw shapes on the locked screen of Realme 8 Pro and any other supporting Realme device to instantly open an app and turn on different functionalities. You can choose between seven such gestures including shapes like O, X, V and more to allot them different functions. To turn it on, go to Settings > Gestures & Motions > Add gesture. Then just simply add them manually.
5. Personal Information Protection on Realme 8 pro
This is an important security feature that you should know about. Realme UI offers a feature through which whenever a third-party app requests for personal information, Realme gives the app blank data so it cannot read your information but also functions normally as if you have given it the data. To turn it on, just go to Settings > Personal Information Protection > Prevent Personal data leakage.
