‘Toolsidas Junior’: Makers drop the much-awaited trailer of late Rajiv Kapoor’s last film, co-starring Sanjay Dutt – Times of India

Rajiv plays the role of Toolsidas, who is an ace snooker player. He proudly proclaims that he ‘only plays for his son’. We also saw glimpses of Toolsidas Junior (played by Varun). But when Toolsidas loses in an important match to his rival, his son decides to fulfil his father’s dream with the help of a former snooker champion Mohammad Salam (Sanjay).

This was supposed to be Rajiv’s comeback to acting as he stayed away from the big screen since 1990. However, he died of a heart attack in January last year. He had wrapped shooting for the film shortly before his death.
