Tom Brady ‘might NOT be done’ says Rich Eisen, as he says to ‘keep an eye out’ for the GOAT

Tom Brady ‘might NOT be done’ says Rich Eisen, as the anchor says to ‘keep an eye out’ for the seven-time Super Bowl winner unretiring AGAIN as he’s not ‘getting big and fat’ with Miami named as a potential destination

Tom Brady said he was retiring ‘for good’ last month, but there are already rumors that he could be targeting another return to the game.

After spending last week in Indianapolis for the NFL Combine, NFL Network anchor Rich Eisen emerged with the rumor that Brady may not be done playing.

And he even shed light on which team could be the GOAT’s ticket back into the league.

‘This one just blew my mind: Tom Brady might not be done after all,’ Eisen said on Monday.

‘A couple people were just like, ‘Hang on, just you wait.’ And I was like, ‘He’s Instagramming out pictures of his cat.’ But it doesn’t look like he’s getting big and fat, does it? Let it play out. Let’s see who wants what.’

The next day Brady posted his emotional retirement video

He joked to his fans that 'You only get one super emotional retirement essay and I used mine up last year'

Brady announced his retirement – for the second time – on February 1 in an emotional video

‘The one place that folks are saying to keep an eye out for is Miami,’ Eisen continued.

‘If the Dolphins, somehow or some way get a doctor’s report or piece of information from a medical evaluation of Tua [Tagovailoa] that he may not be ready to go, and suddenly there’s Tom Brady sitting in Florida, where his family is located and where he can easily locate himself – keep an eye out on that, I was told by a couple birdies at the Combine.’

Brady announced his retirement on February 1 in an emotional video posted to social media, where he announced the end of his glittering 23-year career.

Brady won six Super Bowls with the Patriots before adding one more with the Bucs in 2021, and it was thought his next career move was decided.

It was previously reported that Brady would transition to the broadcast booth with FOX Sports in 2024, with a reported ten-year, $375million contract waiting for him.

Eisen, however, has now added some doubt to the idea that Brady is done playing, saying the rumors of his return came from multiple people.

Brady’s second retirement came a year to the day that Brady first announced his retirement, a decision he would reverse just weeks later.

If he reverses his decision once again, there appears to be a road for him to join the Dolphins.

Miami quarterback Tagovailoa suffered (at least) two concussions last season and there are questions about his long-term future in the sport.

He spent a whopping 38 days in concussion protocol following his second head injury of the season.

The Dolphins have also held a previous interest in Brady, but were punished with a loss of a 2023 first-round pick after they were found to have ‘impermissible communication’ with him and his agent during and after the 2021 season.

ESPN reported in January that the Dolphins no longer had interest in pursuing Brady, who suffered the first losing season (8-9) of his career last season as the Bucs sputtered to a first-round playoff exit.
