Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger believes Tom Brady looked like ‘a different Tom’ during Sunday’s 20-18 loss to the inconsistent Steelers.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion cut a frustrated figure during the surprise loss in Pittsburgh, and at one point was visibly irate with his offensive-line.

‘Maybe it was the pressure, and he was getting hit and whatever was going on,’ Roethlisberger said on the latest episode of Footbahlin with Ben Roethlisberger.

‘At one point I looked down there and said “there’s no way he’s enjoying this. No way.” ‘It just didn’t look fun for him.

‘This is just my opinion, Tom is the greatest. The Super Bowl rings show it. It didn’t look like he wanted to be out there.’

In some respects, Brady could not be blamed for wanting to be anywhere else than Acrisure Stadium behind Tampa’s porous o-line.

The 45-year-old was sacked twice and hit five times by a Steelers defensive front missing superstar end T.J. Watt.

‘When a defense gets after you, sometimes your anger and your disgust for things happen because the other team is affecting you,’ Roethlisberger said. ‘Not because it’s you. But yeah, it just looked like a different Tom.’

Roethlisberger, who retired at the end of last season, has no itch to get back in the game, not even as Brady was coming back to Pittsburgh.

‘I was up there just happy as can be watching the game.’ And no wonder as Big Ben’s former team moved to 2-4.

Meanwhile, Brady and the Buccaneers sit 3-3 before a trip to Charlotte to take on the woeful Carolina Panthers Sunday.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles denied claims that Tom Brady’s Saturday appearance at New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft’s wedding in New York had an impact on the team’s loss.

Bowles was also quick to reject reports that Brady receives preferential treatment after letting him attend Friday’s wedding, just a day before the team’s walk-through.

‘He works as hard as anybody,’ Bowles said of his star quarterback on Monday. ‘Special treatment — there have been a few guys that have missed meetings and some practices for some special thing — that just doesn’t get publicized because they’re not him. It just kind of comes with the territory. You don’t worry about it too much.’
