This is the incredible moment Tina Turner produced an iconic Super Bowl performance ahead of the 2000 showdown between the St Louis Rams and the Tennessee Titans in Atlanta, Georgia.
The ‘Queen of Rock n Roll’ died on Wednesday at the age of 83 following a long battle with illness, and fans are now looking back at some of her most memorable concerts.
Sports fans are no different, with the American-born songstress having previously performed at the biggest occasion on the calendar: the Super Bowl.
Rather than the usual halftime show though, Turner instead got fans excited BEFORE the football action began, performing two songs ahead of the game in 2000.
As part of a show to celebrate ‘The Great American Music of the 20th Century’, she performed alongside Travis Tritt, the Georgia Mass Choir, and the Georgia Tech Marching Band.

Elsewhere, one fan said what many others were thinking, writing: ‘Never understood why the NFL didn’t tap her for a halftime show.’

On the field, there was plenty to talk about too – with the game becoming one of the most memorable Super Bowls of all-time.
It was eventually won 23-16 by the Rams – their first Super Bowl title – but would be remembered by the final play, later immortalized with the name ‘One Yard Short’.
An exciting final drive saw Titans wide receiver Kevin Dyson desperately trying to score a game-tying touchdown, only for Rams linebacker Mike Jones to tackle him one yard short of the goal-line as time expired.
