Speaking on Sky Sports, Jamie Carragher said that the midfielder’s injury put the game back in the balance.
‘Small details,’ Carragher said on what will decide the winner of the final. ‘The tiniest thing will decide, there’s no doubt. I think with Thiago out, it’s a 50-50 game now.’
Thiago has started just 10 Premier League matches this season as he has struggled to stay fit due to calf and hip injuries.
