These Shoes Were the Envy of My Colleagues at the Met Gala—And Now, They’re on Sale

The single goal I had whilst planning my outfit for the Met Gala this year was that my shoes had to be comfortable. Although the first Monday in May is undoubtedly exciting, it still is a long day running around on your feet. In years past, I’ve felt it necessary to wear a pair of sky-high heels to match the evening’s grandeur. I would always be met with remorse because of the physical pain, and also look back at pictures and wonder why I dressed so far beyond my personal style. This year I had a different, more simplistic approach: wear shoes that I’d not only wear again but made it possible for me to walk the next day.

Enter Neous’s Dracu heel. It took a fair amount of searching to settle on this pair and because I was admittedly very late pulling together an outfit, I had to choose heels that would go with just about any dress. And I feel like I struck gold by finding these! They turned out supremely comfortable (all my coworkers were jealous as I gallantly changed into higher heels for the after-parties), and I’ve worn them probably five times since. They looked great with a gown but also worked with jeans and a t-shirt. The shape is classic, but the grosgrain feels more modern than classic suede or leather. Now that they’re on sale—I highly recommend investing in a pair before they’re gone!
