The release of ‘Shareek 2’ pushed to July 8 in the wake of Sidhu Moose Wala’s untimely demise – Times of India

The trailer of ‘Shareek 2’ starring Jimmy Shergil and Dev Kharoud was scheduled to release in the first week of June, but in the wake of Sidhu Moose Wala’s sudden death, the makers of the movie postponed the same until further notice. Now another update on the movie has been shared by the makers, and they have announced that even the release of the movie has been pushed a little ahead. Earlier, the movie was set to hit the theatres on June 24, but now it will be released on July 8th.

The Director of the movie Navaniat Singh took to his social media handle to share this update. He posted a picture on his handle that read – “Because of the unfortunate incident that happened a few days ago, the whole of Punjab is in deep shock and grief. we strongly condemn this incident and feel the pain of each person who is connected with it. Hence, we are rescheduling the release of our film Shareek 2 which was to release on 24.06.2022. Now our film will release on 08.07.2022”

Sidhu Moose Wala’s untimely demise left a scar on the whole entertainment world. Many artists canceled their shows as well. Also, a few days back, Ammy Virk announced about postponing the release of his much-awaited movie ‘Sher Bagga’ with Sonam Bajwa. The movie was scheduled to release today, i.e. on June 10, and now has been postponed until further notice.
