The Railway Men: Babil Khan shares first poster of debut series with R. Madhavan and Kay Kay Menon – Times of India

Babil Khan, the son of late Bollywood star Irrfan Khan, has shared the first poster of his debut project titled ‘The Railway Men’.

The web series starring R. Madhavan, Kay Kay Menon, Divyenndu Sharma, will be a tribute to the unsung heroes of the 1984 Bhopal gas tragedy.

Sharing the poster that sees the four leading men with cloth wrapped around their faces, Babil expressed his happiness and honour saying, “Honoured to be a part of @yrfentertainment‘s first OTT project #TheRailwayMen – a tribute to the unsung heroes of 1984 Bhopal gas tragedy. Saluting the courage of people who saved lives 37 years back.”

The announcement comes on the 37th anniversary of the tragedy that struck Bhopal. The project said to be a tribute to the railway workers at Bhopal station, is being directed by debutant Shiv Rawail.

This project is said to be a one-season limited series. Besides the four leading men, the series will also feature several other powerful performers who will be announced in due course of time.

‘The Railway Men’ started filming on December 1.

“The Railway Men is our salute to their spirit, their courage and their humanity. This is a story that needed to be told. We are not going to leave any stone unturned to ensure that this story reaches out to audiences, across the world, in the best possible way so that they can understand the depth of devastation that this tragedy has caused in India,” Yogendra Mogre was quoted saying in a statement to IANS.
