Most of us play Wordle, the very popular word game, because of the thrill of beating the game, as a mild amusement or just because our friends coaxed us into it and now it has become a habit. The game’s simple gameplay and minimalist UI can get anyone addicted to it. And it has not even left the White House alone. It all began last week when Harris admitted, “When I can’t sleep I’ve been doing Wordle” at a fundraiser. Ever since the remark, netizens have had a lot of questions. Why does Kamala Harris play Wordle

Before we reveal the big question, let us find out Kamala Harris’ Wordle strategies. She does have a favorite staring word and it is NOTES. When asked why she picked that word she said, “I think that you have to have a healthy mix of consonants and vowels, and a lot of words come with an S”. She also blames the New York Times for messing up her streak. Her current streak is at 48.

The US Vice President also revealed that on average it takes her four guesses to get the word. That already puts her in the top 25% players in the world.

But the biggest reveal was the reason why she plays the game. While for most of us it is the thrill of the win, for her, it is the peace of mind. She said, “Wordle, for me, is like a brain cleanser. So it’s in the middle of very long days, back-to-back meetings on a lot of intense issues. If I have a break, let’s say that people are running late or my little 25 minutes for lunch, sometimes while I’m eating I’ll figure out Wordle”.

Funnily, Harris has also attempted to get her staff to convert to Wordle as well. She claims she has had some success with it too.
