In an NBA postseason filled with fresh faces and up-and-coming teams looking to make a name for themselves, one sleeping juggernaut may be re-emerging. In Game 3 of their second-round matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies, the Golden State Warriors came out firing on all cylinders, hitting an eye-popping 17 of 32 shots from three-point range in a 142-112 win . Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole combined for nine of those threes, but that was overshadowed by a controversial play where Poole seemed to grab Ja Morant’s knee and pull backward, eventually forcing Morant to leave the game with a limp. After the game, Morant was clearly unhappy with how things transpired, while Thompson came to the defense of his young teammate. Regardless of whether or not Poole’s dirty play was intentional or not, this series has clearly kicked things up a notch with Game 4 taking place on Monday night in San Francisco.
