While the business from Delhi / UP is around Rs 40 crore nett. According to a news portal, ‘The Kerala Story’ stands at a total collection of Rs 185 crore nett. The film is expected to reach the 200 crore nett mark at the end of its fourth weekend. The lifetime collection of ‘The Kerala Story’ is expected to be around Rs 225 crore nett approximately.
Recently, the ban over ‘The Kerala Story’ in West Bengal was lifted. Speaking about the same, director Sudipto Sen said, “After Supreme Court’s new order we were so excited. We came to Kolkata with plans to visit the theatres and interact with the audience. However, it seems nothing has changed. ‘The Kerala Story’ is still missing from the halls. We didn’t expect this. I am not a politician. Adah Sharma is also not a politician. So we simply can’t understand why still our film couldn’t find a hall. I am really shocked to see this.”
