The ‘Highest PPG in the NBA postseason’ quiz
While there are still play-in games to be played on Friday, the true NBA playoffs begin on Saturday. This year’s postseason is as wide open as ever, with no clear favorite having yet emerged. One reason for that is the numerous injuries to star players that will, no doubt, impact almost every series. Golden State is “optimistic” that Steph Curry will play in Game 1 vs. Denver. The same cannot be said for Luka Doncic, unfortunately, as he is likely out for the Mavs in Game 1 against Utah. Over in the East, the Celtics will be without their defensive stalwart. Ditto for Philly, who will not have its stopper, Matisse Thybulle, for any games in Toronto due to COVID-19 protocols. And that doesn’t even get into guys who have missed most of the 2021-22 season with injuries, such as Jamal Murray, Ben Simmons and Kawhi Leonard. The NBA playoffs can be a war of attrition, and with so many big names already banged up, “availability” might be the most coveted ability in the Association over the next two months.
Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. In honor of the playoffs getting underway, we wanted to see how many of the 25 players with the highest points per game in postseason history you can name in five minutes.
Good luck!
