The Elite’s AEW return teased weeks after All Out backstage fight

Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks appear to be near a return weeks after the All Out backstage fight.

Back on Labor Day weekend, All Elite Wrestling was in the news following a contentious press conference following their All Out pay-per-view event featuring CM Punk, which led to a backstage fight between the then-world champion, Kenny Omega, the Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson), and trainer Ace Steel. That led to all of the wrestlers being stripped of their respective championships and suspended indefinitely.

It appears that Omega and the Young Bucks, known as the Elite, are on their way back to AEW television.

During the Oct. 26 episode of AEW Dynamite, a video teaser aired featuring Omega and the Young Bucks “disappearing” from various moments of their careers with the company. You can check out the video in AEW’s tweet below:

The Elite nearing their AEW returns?

This was the first time that the trio were shown on AEW television since the reported backstage fight.

At the aforementioned All Out press conference, Punk was openly critical of the executive vice presidents of the company, who just so happen to be Omega and the Young Bucks. According to various reports, that led to a fight between Omega, the Jacksons, Punk and Steel backstage.

On the ensuing episode of Dynamite, company CEO Tony Khan announced that Punk was stripped of the world title, while Omega and the Jacksons were stripped of their AEW trios championships. All four wrestlers won their championships at the All Out pay-per-view event. Khan did so without mentioning the wrestlers by name.

Additionally, they were all removed from the video opening of Dynamite.

Prior to this latest episode of Dynamite, Fightful Select (subscription required) reported that there was talk backstage Omega and the Young Bucks were returning to work in some capacity, with a source telling the outlet that it could happen “imminently.”

With this video tease, fans are going to be wondering when exactly they will see the Elite return to the ring.
