The Best Dressed Stars This Week Embraced Bodycon Silhouettes

Fall fashion may be all about bundling up, but on the red carpet this week, celebrities continued to gravitate towards summer’s slinky designs. Bodycon silhouettes—some with sexy cutout details—accentuated the form in tasteful ways. Turns out, skin is in year-round, at least according to the stars.

At last night’s Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s induction ceremony, singer Olivia Rodrigo slipped into Shushu Tong’s pleated mini dress with cutouts on each side. The hip cutout was also seen on Taylor Russell’s chic Loewe gown at the premiere of Bones & All, complete with an oversized black bow at the front. Selena Gomez also embraced the bow on her silky, one-shouldered Rodarte slip dress, worn to the premiere of her buzzy new documentary, Selena Gomez: My Mind And Me.

Even the week’s more covered-up designs still had a body conscious feel. Lupita Nyong’o’s beaded Alexander McQueen gown, worn to the London premiere of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, had a high neckline, but it was offset with a sleeveless silhouette and clingy waistline. At the LACMA Gala last night, Kim Kardashian also continued her Balenciaga kick in a floor-length couture design that had long sleeves and a high neckline as well—but in an all-over black spandex finish? It was hardly demure.
