Whether it’s a sparkly set of stones or a buzzy new cut, this week’s best beauty Instagrams are a reminder that there’s plenty of fun to be had while staying cozy and bundled up.
By the look of things, face gems steeped in Y2K nostalgia are here to stay and they’re bound to get bigger and bolder this year. The ever-ethereal FKA twigs put an avant-garde spin on the trend, serving up a set of dazzling diamante teardrops in tandem with the release of her new single, “Tears In The Club.” But it’s not just the face—those tooth gems that kicked off in the ’90s and resurfaced on our feeds around 2018 are still wildly popular while looking fresh. Twigs loves them and so does Rosalía, who was all smiles while out in London, showing off her butterfly-shaped tooth decals accented by rhinestones on the side.
On the nail front, maximalism continues to dominate. Dua Lipa kept it colorful with a set of watercolor-dipped extensions covered in 3D drops, while Lizzo took to the ‘gram with tousled hair, soft makeup, and a French manicure updated with negative space.
There were also some major hair moments on our radar: Erykah Badu turned to longtime stylist Yasmin Amira for a chunky fringe that took centerstage.
